About MapAtlas - Google Maps based Atlas

MapAtlas was created to allow any user in any language to view any place in the world.

The project is cooperating Google Maps technology with The NGA database. We thank both Google and the U.S. National Geospatial Agency for allowing us to use their data and technology to bring you the largest online maps atlas. We also thank Local GIS contributors from various countries that supplemented the database and offered corrections and guidance.
